We are looking for a Shift/Team Leader for our client - a Company specialising in Adhesive Systems.

Your new company:
Our client is a leading provider of innovative solutions for industrial adhesive applications based in the South Moravian Region (Greenfield). The company provides a wide range of adhesive application systems, including equipment for the precise application of hot melt and cold glue adhesives.

Your Responsibility:
As a Shift/Team Leader, you will effectively organize, manage, and monitor individual production workplaces. Support and develop a team of employees, increase production efficiency, ensure quality through industrial engineering tools. Supervise and control compliance with safety and health protection at work.

  • Management, control, and responsibility for assigned workplaces.
  • Management, organization, and management of subordinate workers at the assigned workplace. Scheduling of shifts and teamwork, attendance records - ensure compliance with working hours.
  • Observe the principles of health and safety and environmental protection at work and in the entire department, as well as observe the work rules and other internal guidelines.
  • Ensuring the material needed for production and ensuring its proper storage and records.
  • Compliance with the standards of all materials for production, ensuring economy of consumption.
  • Making entries in all assigned registers.
  • Comply with the requirements of the legislation, including maintaining confidentiality regarding the company's business affairs.
  • Create a good image of the company as a good employer, take care of the company's reputation.
  • Build an internal/external customer orientation including high standards of customer service regarding cooperation, respect, communication, continuous improvement, performance, quality and cost optimisation.

Professional Experience:
  • Min. 2–3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience of leading a team of people in production - positive and helpful attitude, ability to lead and motivate
  • Understanding - HSE and PO (health and safety environmental) quality, hygiene and environment in production
  • Knowledge and experience with the implementation of industrial engineering methods
  • Experience with custom production/ knowledge of production processes - assembly of parts - an advantage

Requirements and Skills:
  • Knowledge of LEAN
  • Knowledge of working in ERP, SAP is an advantage
  • Czech or Slovak: B2-C1
  • English or German: Advanced
